Welcome to the official website of the Scottish Rafting Association.

This  lists all members of the association and their qualifications, and provides contact details for committee members.

The SRA has been promoting good practice in commercial rafting in Scotland since its conception over 20 years ago. We represent the interest of our members, provide quality training experiences and represent Scottish Rafting at home and abroad.

Additionally there is information on SRA approved guide training courses available.

Should you wish to contact the Association on any matter, simply e-mail to the address below or contact a committee member directly using the contact information on the Committee page.

Membership Renewals

Membership renewal of the SRA is due from 1st April for 2016-17 subscriptions.  Please remember that your qualification is only valid when you have current membership together with an up to date first aid qualification.

All members due for renewal payment should receive a paypal invoice for the membership fee.  If you have not received this please ensure that we have your current e-mail address and/or include on your ‘safe sender’ list.

Please notify any change to your e-mail address to this same address

Note that the SRA now operates a paperless and cardless system, so all membership and qualification status is by e-mail and the website.

SRA Qualification Scheme

The changes to the way in which Members’ Qualifications are shown has been implemented as of 1st April 2016.

This does not alter your membership/qualification status, but is simply a clearer system of describing it.

There is now also the opportunity for candidates to obtain the NEW Raft Guide II qualification.
