Welcome to the official website of the Scottish Rafting Association.

This  lists all members of the association and their qualifications, and provides contact details for committee members.

The SRA has been promoting good practice in commercial rafting in Scotland since its conception over 20 years ago. We represent the interest of our members, provide quality training experiences and represent Scottish Rafting at home and abroad.

Additionally there is information on SRA approved guide training courses available.

Should you wish to contact the Association on any matter, simply e-mail to the address below or contact a committee member directly using the contact information on the Committee page.

SRA Membership

Annual membership is currently £25pa.

The £12.50 levy for joining the SRA,  or up-grading within the qualification scheme, has been scrapped - as a result of savings from our  recent move to a cardless/ paperless membership system.

Dates for FREE training and assessment days in 2017 (for SRA members) are now shown below.

Membership Renewals

Membership renewal of the SRA were due on 1st April for 2017-18 subscriptions.  Please remember that your qualification is only valid when you have current membership together with an up to date first aid qualification.

All members due for renewal payment should have received a paypal invoice for the membership fee on, or shortly after, the 1st of April.  If you have not received this please ensure that we have your current e-mail address and include on your ‘safe sender’ list.

Please notify any change to your e-mail address to this same address

SRA Qualification Scheme

Changes to the way in which Members’ Qualifications are shown were implemented as of 1st April 2016.

This does not not alter your membership/qualification status, but is simply a clearer system of describing it.

There is now also the opportunity for candidates to obtain the NEW Raft Guide II qualification.
